Discover with the guides of the castle the stories of La Mota from origin, in Prehistoric times, to the present. Current uses of the castle, and also, how it became one of the best Artillery Parks in Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries.
IT INCLUDES
The visit to the Iron Age site; the outdoor area with the medieval walls and the outer wall of the castle; visit to the underground galleries, ground floor and chapel.
Several days, thematic visits are available. Historical figures and events related to the fortress stand out: “Fernando el Católico and the fortress of La Mota”, “The flight of César Borgia”, “El Castillo de la Mota and the Burning of Medina ”,“ Juana I of Castilla and the fortress of La Mota ”, etc.

IMPORTANT
Access to the underground shooting galleries and the castle chapel by stairs, so it is no possible access whit wheelchair or baby carriage.
INDIVIDUAL VISITORS: guided tours are in Spanish, in groups of minimum 5 people and maximum 30. Advance reservation is recommended
ORGANIZED GROUPS: advance reservation. If there are more than 30 people, it will be divided in different groups. Waiting time 20-30 minutes (when available).
