R\u00e9gnant en Castille, Juan II commencent les travaux de construction du ch\u00e2teau actuel dont les murs seront adapt\u00e9s et soutenus par les anciennes murailles m\u00e9di\u00e9vales du XIIe si\u00e8cle. Le roi Enrique IV terminera les travaux \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur de celui-ci ainsi que les travaux du grand donjon. Par la suite, ce seront les Rois Catholiques qui fourniront au ch\u00e2teau une grande barri\u00e8re d\u00e9fensive avec une galerie de tir souterraine moderne et creuseront les douves qui entourent l&#8217;ensemble de la construction. Apr\u00e8s sa d\u00e9claration en tant que monument national en 1904, divers travaux de restauration et de reconstruction ont commenc\u00e9 sur le b\u00e2timent int\u00e9rieur pour abriter, \u00e0 partir des ann\u00e9es 1940, l&#8217;\u00e9cole de commandement de la section des femmes.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243; box_shadow_blur_tablet=&#8221;40px&#8221; box_shadow_spread_tablet=&#8221;0px&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aujourd&#8217;hui, la forteresse appartient au Conseil R\u00e9gional de Castilla y Le\u00f3n et deux usages diff\u00e9rents y sont combin\u00e9s: le Conseil R\u00e9gional de la Culture de Castilla y Le\u00f3n utilise les installations int\u00e9rieures pour des cours, des conf\u00e9rences et d&#8217;autres activit\u00e9s culturelles de diverses natures;
